The latest information on our campaign

April 2025 – Current Situation
It has been a busy month or so for us as we begin to really pull together our campaign. Highlights include:
- We’ve joined Plunkett UK. Plunkett is a national charity that specializes in helping community groups exactly like ours achieve great things.
- In a few weeks’ time we’ll officially be The Lamb Inn Community Benefit Society…
- This is the key step to being legally able to fund-raise to acquire the pub
- We’ve started raise money for legal fees, publicity, professional services etc. – our Fighting Fund! Contact Us if you can help.
- The big plan, which we are on-target for, is to have The Lamb Inn kept-safe and in Community ownership this year.
Another fantastic fundraising event, at The Lamb Inn, for Keep The Lamb Inn: the Curry Night was a huge success. £1032 raised for our fighting fund, which will go towards campaign expenses, legal fees, professional services and so-on.
Huge thanks to our curry chefs, Pat, Tim, Charlie, Penny, Di and Anne, and our after-dinner entertainment from Charlie, Pat and Stu!

Curry Night A Delicious Success!

Quiz Night Fundraiser
Thank you to everyone who attended a bumper quiz night. It was another excellent evening hosted by Seb and raised £365 to help kick start our campaign.
Public Meeting
An amazing 180 people crammed into the Parish Hall to hear Glen and Richard introduce our plans for a community owned pub. Special thanks to Toby from the Drewe Arms, who spoke on the successes and challenges of their campaign to reopen their wonderful pub in the heart of Drewsteignton.
